PARISH COUNCIL GUIDE: Parish Councils can seem a bit of a mystery, so we’ve put together the Alston Parish Council Guide. Hopefully, this is an easy-to-read introduction to what we do, how decisions are made, and how you can get involved.

The guide covers everything from money matters to meetings. Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for years, it’s a handy way to understand what goes on behind the scenes. We have tried to make it easy to read and added some humour.
